Welcome to my website

Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust
I am a freelance web developer based in Leicestershire, East Midlands, specialising in a range of technologies including Microsoft ASP.Net, SQL Server, PHP, MySQL, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and XML.

As you will see from my portfolio, an increasing number of companies and web design agencies are now outsourcing their web development projects to me because I can offer a personal professional service which is both reliable and extremely cost effective.

Graduating with a Bsc (Hon's) degree in Computer Science gave a firm foundation to my understanding of the underlying IT principles which are so crucial to the development of efficient software systems.

Building on from this, the extensive commercial experience that I have gained over subsequent years has enabled me to put this knowledge into practice to great effect.

I have an inherent passion for developing innovative techniques to provide efficient solutions to challenging business problems.

Wherever possible, I always prefer to deal directly with my clients with the intention of impressing them with my work and forming a longstanding business relationship with them.

Dealing with expensive employment agencies usually involves discussing your requirements with sales staff driven more by commission incentives than a desire to offer informed advice based on extensive knowledge and experience of current IT technologies. IT contractors supplied by these agencies are very expensive and often of varying quality.

In dealing direct with clients myself, I can reduce unnecessary commission costs whilst still providing a professional service.

I am proud of the fact that every client for whom I have worked so far has gone on to entrust me with further work based on their satisfaction with the level of service that I offer.

A website forms part of the company's overall corporate image and interface to the customer, just like it's sales force and if the website is slow, disorganised and unreliable, then this is likely to have a negative impact on the customer's perception of the company.

It should be thought of as a brand experience which is similar to a customer walking into the company's own premises.

The Internet is such a popular medium now that consumers are just as likely to obtain information from a company's website than request expensive catalogues to be posted to them and therefore printing and marketing costs are reduced.

Please E-Mail me via the "Contact Me" option on the menu to discuss your requirements.
